How updates work
Owners can receive thoughtful care updates through the private owner dashboard during active bookings. The exact update rhythm depends on the pet, schedule, and owner preference, but the goal is simple: you should not be wondering how things are going back home.
- Updates can include meals, potty/walk notes, medication confirmation, behavior, comfort, and photos when appropriate.
- Emergency or time-sensitive issues are handled directly using the owner and emergency-contact details on file.
- Preferred update style should be discussed during the meet-and-greet so expectations are clear before you leave.
Why this is different from Rover-style booking
Ryan’s Petsitting LLC is intentionally personal. You are not choosing from a marketplace, waiting to see who responds, or wondering who will actually show up. The person you meet is Ryan, and the care plan is built around whether the request is a reliable fit for Ryan to handle directly.
That personal approach is why first-time care requires a meet-and-greet and why some requests may be reviewed or declined if the fit, distance, timing, or safety details are not right.
How overnight dates and payment work
The live booking estimate is the authoritative calculation for selected dates. The starting deposit equals one overnight stay and begins the booking process. Multi-day bookings can carry a remaining balance under the published booking policy.
